This is me post Vow Renewal Ceremony bliss, on the beach at sunset, feeling the joy and love in the ceremony overflowing!

My name is Juanna Grace Ladaga and I am from Ireland, now living in northeast Scotland, having left the big smoke of the city for the forests, hills and the sea. Having lived further afield for most of my life, it is so wonderful to be connected to my Celtic roots again.

With a background in education, soul midwifery and music I weave together many strands to to create personal and meaningful ceremonies. I was ordained as a OneSpirit Interfaith minister in 2016.

As an Interfaith Minister I get to celebrate life in so many ways. Sometimes I'm supporting people to help them clarify their hopes and dreams so as to understand how these wishes can become a reality. Sometimes I'm supporting people to bring into words what they are thankful for - what has truly brought meaning, depth and joy to their lives.  If someone is really is up for a deep dive then I'm ready to join them.

I sing with the local Threshold Choir, singing gentle harmonies to those at the threshold of death, and I also sing with my partner in his regular pop-up group, where we sing songs of joy, beauty and connection -  both nourish me so much!

Recently I qualified as a Quietude® practitioner, accompanying those on the journey of death, dying and bereavement (which is all of us). This is also known as the work of the soul midwife or the death doula. This is tender and deep work and has the gorgeous gift of leading me deeper into life.

As well as holding funerals, I also hold living funerals, life celebrations, weddings, memorials, baby blessings and more...
