What is Spiritual Counselling?

John O’Donoghue wrote, “One of the tasks of true friendship is to listen compassionately and creatively to the hidden silences. Often secrets are not revealed in words, they lie concentrated in the silence between the words.”

Spiritual counselling is a safe and powerful container for anyone wishing to understand themselves better. Our many relationships, personal, professional and within the family can be wonderful mirrors for us to see what is ready to emerge. I invite you to join me in exploring the relationships in your life, to people, places, things and your own biography. There are riches waiting to be uncovered.

Finding Vocation In Professional Life

In our professional roles we may notice that certain patterns emerge again and again. It may be that we realise that certain unhelpful habits hold us back or are triggered when we are unsure of what to do next. I welcome people to explore these together so as to find a more liberating, rewarding and beneficial way of being in their roles. Who knows what treasures may be waiting to be uncovered!

Sessions usually last about 1 hour and can be booked in a series so that there is a clear beginning and conclusion. We can work on particular topics or keep the intention open to see where the journey takes us. Our initial 20 minutes consolation is free of charge.

And the whole experience is grounded in the ethics of the counsellors code of practise, confidentiality, a contract between the client and counsellor and regular supervision.
